Incoming...

If god is a cyclist, mom nature is definitely NOT.

Today I found yet another reason to always wear a helmet. No it's not the falling trees, because let's be honest...broken limbs, will kill you...so to speak.

It's the melting snow. Seems simple enough, but you well know my fear of water. It was like riding through a suspended mine field today. Splat, splat, thud. Dodging explosions in every direction.

I was only hit once. It was enough. It was only my foot, but it penetrated my shoe. Cold snow wedged between my ankle and my tongue. HeeHee, that sounds funny.

Then there was the tree debris, broken limbs, mounds of salt, crushed bamboo. On second thought, do I really want a bike made from this wilted fiber? And this tree STANDING in the middle of the trail. Just STANDING there, not touching nothing but trail! Look at it!

Oh, and the half lit Air Rights Tunnel. For those of you (and you know who you are) who question the lights on the grid...HALF of the tunnel was in the dark, just HALF. It was like Paw Paw tunnel in the nape of the city.

"Have a safe ride!" Who you telling!?

Technically Speaking

Engineer: How's the shot?
Technician: audio is bad
Engineer: How's the video?
Technician: Fine, but the audio is bad
Engineer: But the video looks good?
Technician: Yes, but there's noisy audio
Engineer: The audio is bad?
Technician: Yes, bad
Engineer: Bad?
Technician: There's a loud squealy noise
Engineer: (repeating) "there's a loud squealy noise"
Techician: it's really annoying
Engineer: But is it usable?
